Mr. Alpesh Shah is a self-made, hardworking individual, who with his zeal for innovation and customization, established Hydro Mech Engineers in 1992. Studying Mechanical Engineering in LD college Ahmedabad, he set up a partnership to design machine components. Later, in the year 1997, his business focus shifted from simply designing components towards manufacturing machinery. His desire to learn, creative material handling experience, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit proved instrumental in establishing the company and directing it towards success.

Garnering a dream to build a state-of-the-art automatic production unit, he was the pioneer in designing and developing a fully-automatic loading and unloading system and introduced automation in the plywood and wood work industries. Success found him, with several orders pouring in, after his company was able to design and commission machineries, within a short span of 1 month, without compromising quality and efficiency, for Green ply Industries in Tizit, Nagaland.

Inspired by big interpretations of big groups of companies and being an entrepreneur at heart, he was quick to boost Hydro Mech Engineers to become the leading manufacturer of material handling machinery in Asia. Currently, the company has over 10,000 equipment that are working efficiently across various industries.
